This is a beautiful small stained glass window showing John the Baptist, created with bright coloured glass and painted details in brown and gold stain.

Here, John is shown holding a lamb, a common attribute given to St John to symbolise his recognition of Jesus as the Son of God. Indeed, when John baptised Jesus in the River Jordan he said ‘Behold, the Lamb of God’. His reed cross and camel skin have also commonly been used in the depiction of the Saint from as early as the 5th century.
