Leslie Ernest Parkinson
Parkinson was born in Islington in 1903, the son of Arthur and Ann. He married Edith Richardson, the daughter of the England fast bowler Tom Richardson, in 1929. He pursued a career as a civil servant. Parkinson mainly painted in oils. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
