Pyramids of Geezeh, From The Nile

David Roberts RA (1796-1864) was a Scottish painter known for his detailed lithographs and paintings of the Middle East and Spain. He was elected as a Royal Academician (RA) in 1841. "Pyramids of Geezeh, From The Nile" is one of his famous works from his travels to Egypt, depicting the iconic pyramids as viewed from the Nile River. This artwork is part of his series of lithographs published in the book "Egypt and Nubia" between 1846 and 1849.
