Jeremy Andrews
Andrews developed a unique style combining objective studies of nature with a deeply personal vision of the countryside around him. Jeremy Andrews works in oils and uses traditional techniques such as under painting and glazes to create startling illusions of flesh and body mass. He works meticulously to recreate what he sees, observing the finest details and subtleties in light and form.
He has exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery, London; The Scottish National Gallery, Edinburgh and The Royal Society of Portrait Painters, London. His work is held in both private and public collections.
Andrews also works to commission, primarily in oils. He has painted an eclectic range of sitters including Lord Denis Healey and Lord Levy
